'The best place in the world - I can't wait to come back' that's how my son described it to Kiss FM and that's how we all felt. Not only were we blessed with a heatwave instead of the usual rain, there was a great atmosphere with no violence, few signs of any kind of trouble - just lots of joy and love of music and exhuberant, extrovert fun and good will. Once you have overcome the horrors of the portaloos, it is a back-to-nature, 'let it be' kind of experience, helped by the festival cider and spanning all generations, equally worshiping Snoop Dog, Stevie and other icons with one voice. It was brilliant!
